Karmann Ghia Maintenance 2

AD CORE DEVISE DESIGNER BLOG Vol.6
It's been a month since I sprained my leg, and I'm finally able to walk without a cane. I received many sympathetic emails from everyone in the recent newsletter. Thank you very much.

I haven't driven my Karmann Ghia for the past month. I was worried about the battery, but when I started the engine after a long time, it started right up!VINTAGE SPPED I changed to a quick shifter from VINTAGE SPEED. It has 35% less stroke than the stock one, allowing for quicker shift changes. I had been using an EMPI quick shifter, but it wasn't vintage style, so I replaced it with this one. VINTAGE SPEED is a Taiwanese manufacturer that produces tuning parts that are particular about the original style. It's great that there are manufacturers like this who are passionate about vintage bikes, and it's a great help for vintage bike drivers like us.

There is a growing trend for classic cars to stick to their original designs. Old original parts are traded at high prices, and cars that use original parts are more valuable and trade at a higher price. Some people are renovating their LA homes to make them original, using items that were appropriate for the era, such as door hinges, locks, and electrical outlets, and then selling them at a higher price. Just like cars, this is more valuable than a casual remodel. (Seto Noboru, Creative Director, AD CORE DEVISE)

This VINTAGE SPEED shifter has a great vintage style and quick shifting feel.
