MD-3211 System Sofa

We've updated the MD-211, a simple system sofa with soft curves within a classic form. Its soft impression is reminiscent of the bathtub sofa seen in the Hollywood movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and its gentle form that connects the back and arms is distinctive. The new version features separate seat cushions, allowing you to create a variety of looks by using different upholstery and matching fabrics for the back. The compact depth remains the same, offering a spacious and comfortable seating experience despite its minimal depth.

A wide range of combinations are possible with the W1900mm three-seater, W1600mm two-seater, W1400mm single-arm and W1200mm armless sofas, 90-degree and 120-degree corner sofas, and ottomans. All models except the three-seater and two-seater sofas also come standard with connecting resin parts so they can be combined into a system sofa. The newly added 3PL model has a special impression with its softly curved back and seat, creating a new love chair with seating facing each other.

The frame of the MD-3211 is made entirely of domestically produced plywood using cedar and cypress, and the backrest is made of domestically recycled hardboard, using 100% domestically produced materials. The back cushion has fabric stretched over the frame, and soft ribboned foam gently supports the back. The seat uses a 24mm plywood frame with steel wave springs, on top of which ribboned foam and soft foam gently support the weight. The legs use aluminum cast parts made from domestically recycled aluminum, and the wooden frame, cushioning materials, and legs of the main body are all made using only domestically produced materials.

The sofa can be used to decorate a space more elegantly, as the front and back of the body and the seat can be upholstered separately. It can also be used for a long time in public spaces such as offices and clinics, as well as in compact residential spaces.
