Quality/Maintenance

[ QUALITY ]

Beautiful things, things that support people's lifestyles in a unique way, things that are not influenced by trends, things that have a global perspective and are environmentally friendly,
Something that takes cost performance into consideration and satisfies the hearts of those who use it.
We have been consistently making this type of furniture since 1985.
When the company was founded, its policy was to create designs that could continue to be produced into the 21st century.
What we can provide is furniture that is actually designed and used in everyday life.

We also pay particular attention to strength so that our products can be used for a long time. In the case of chairs, we conduct our own repeated strength tests and only produce products that are three times stronger than the old JIS standard.

All products are made in Japan using our original designs.

● Environmental Initiatives

At AD CORE DEVISE,
Since our founding in 1985, we have been engaged in various environmental initiatives, such as those listed below.

  • "We will not discontinue products once they have been commercialized" so that they can be used for a long time.
  • Don't make anything useless
    "Made-to-order order system"
  • Environmentally friendly: "Produced in domestic factories using materials that do not contain toxic substances"
  • "Uses recycled wood from forests" that is considerate of the natural environment
  • Eliminate protective agents made from fossil fuels and use only recyclable materials for product packaging.

Starting in 2022, we are taking the following steps to create even more sustainable products.

Product packaging specifications
We have completely eliminated protective materials such as fossil fuel-based plastic covers and styrofoam used in product packaging.
We only use recyclable materials.

Maintenance equipment
Considering sustainable maintainability, simple tools used when assembling tables and other items are attached to the back of the product, reducing energy loss due to transportation for maintenance if they are lost or repurchased.

Abolish printing of general catalogues
We will take more environmentally friendly measures by eliminating the energy used during printing and disposal, as well as the generation of carbon dioxide.

In addition, from the 2023 model, we will be introducing products that use more than 80% domestic cedar plywood in the structure, which contributes to forest conservation and carbon dioxide fixation,
The urethane foam used as cushioning material
We have launched a product that uses over 80% rebonded foam (chip foam), which is made from recycled scraps generated during factory manufacturing.

● Measures against sick house syndrome

The problem with furniture is the adhesives and harmful chemicals (such as formaldehyde) contained in the paint.
Our products use materials that currently contain the least amount of these harmful substances.

● Strength standards

"A product that transcends the ages and is loved forever" - this is not just a matter of design.
In order to ensure that our products are loved by our customers for a long time, we not only ensure quality but also strength by setting our own in-house standards.
All products currently on the market meet or exceed these standards.

[Three times the standard of JIS standard for home furniture]

Considering the frequency of use in contract (professional use),
We conduct strength tests on furniture based on JIS S1032, S1203, and S1023 at domestic industrial technology centers.

  • Chairs (general chairs) A repeated strength test in which a 55 kg weight is placed on the seat, the front legs are raised 5 cm and then dropped is carried out more than 12.000 times.
(The standard for wooden furniture is 4.000 times.) This is strong enough for an average household to use it for over 10 years if used three times a day.
  • Chair with arms: Apply a load of 30 kg to each arm from the inside to the outside for 10 seconds, more than 10 times.
  • A 55 kg weight was dropped from 30 cm onto the seat of a counter chair (stool) 4000 times.
  • Table (excluding glass tables): Load capacity of 45 kg on each of the four corners of the table top.

Only works that meet the above strength standards are commercialized.
Although the strength of this product has been proven, it is by no means a maintenance-free product.
Without your love and care, your products will not last long.
Please use it with daily care and love.
