Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine Library

The facility is not only used by students, but also by many medical visitors and prefectural residents.
It also serves as a rest and meeting place for academic conferences and symposiums held in the hall on the second floor of the library. For this reason, we updated the fixtures in the entrance area on the first floor of the library to make it more user-friendly. In order to make the most of the entrance space, which has a two-story atrium with an R-shaped glass curtain wall, we selected furniture based on the concept of a "luxury hotel lounge space."

Reason for choosing our product: After visiting various showrooms, we selected NC-053L, which matches the academic space and offers both "comfort" and "functionality." Another deciding factor was the fabric they suggested, which could cope with the summer sun that comes in through the east-facing glass curtain wall.
